  1. Go to Listing Fields
  2. Add a New Field
  3. Configure Field Options
  4. Save and Reorder

Custom fields let you decide what information appears on each listing. Add phone numbers, website links, social icons, images, categories—whatever your directory needs.

Step 1: Go to Listing Fields

In your dashboard, click Listing Fields in the sidebar.

Every listing already has these built-in fields:

  • Name – The listing title
  • Address – Location for map placement
  • Description – A text description

You can add more fields to capture any other information you need.

Step 2: Add a New Field

Click Add Field. A new row appears where you can choose the field type.

Available field types:

Type What it does
Link A clickable text link to any URL
Button A styled button linking to a URL
Phone A clickable phone number
Text Field A single line of text
Textarea Multiple lines of text
Social Icon Link An icon linking to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Podcast, or a custom icon
Categories/Tags Labels you can filter by
Image / Image Gallery One or more images per listing

Choose a type from the dropdown, then set the Label (what visitors see, like "Phone Number" or "Website").

Step 3: Configure Field Options

Each field type has different options:

Show in – Choose where the field appears:

  • Results & details – Shows in browse view and detail page
  • Details only – Shows only when someone clicks a listing

Color – For Link, Button, and Phone fields, pick a color.

Open in new tab – For links, buttons, and social icons—opens in a new browser tab when clicked.

Platform – For Social Icon Link, choose the platform (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and we'll display the right icon. Choose "Other" to paste your own SVG icon.

Maximum images – For Image Gallery, limit how many images can be uploaded per listing.

Click the More button on Tags or Images fields for additional settings like preset tag options.

Step 4: Save and Reorder

Important: Click Save Fields when you're done—changes aren't saved automatically.

To reorder fields, drag them using the grip handle on the left. The order here is the order they'll appear on listings.

Your fields are now ready! When you add or edit listings, you'll see input boxes for each field. If you're importing from a spreadsheet, you can map your columns to these fields—see How to Import from a Spreadsheet.
