How to Add a Price or Range Filter to Your Directory

Add a range slider filter so visitors can filter directory listings by price, rating, or any numeric value.

A range slider lets visitors filter listings by numeric values like prices, ratings, distances, square footage, or anything with a number. Visitors drag the slider or type min/max values to narrow results.

How to Add a Range Filter

  1. Go to Widget SettingsSearch & Filters
  2. Click AddRange Slider
  3. Select a field that contains numeric values
  4. Set the label (e.g., "Price Range," "Rating," "Capacity")
  5. Save your settings

Configuration Options

Min / Max: the slider's range. Auto-detected from your listing data by default, or set manually.

Step size: how much the slider moves per increment (e.g., step of 10 for prices, step of 1 for ratings). Auto-calculated if not set.

Value prefix: text before the number (e.g., $ → "$50").

Value suffix: text after the number (e.g., /hr → "50/hr", km → "50km").

Show inputs: display min/max number fields alongside the slider so visitors can type exact values.

Works With

  • Text fields: add a text field with numeric values (e.g., "Price") and connect a range filter to it. The slider reads the numbers from your text values.
Tip

Make sure your listings have numeric values in the selected field. Non-numeric values are ignored by the slider.
