How to Add a Toggle Filter to Your Directory

Add on/off toggle filters to let visitors filter directory listings by specific criteria like "Featured" or "Open Now.

A toggle filter is a simple on/off switch that shows or hides listings based on a condition, like "Show Featured," "Open Now," or "Has Photos."

How to Add a Toggle Filter

  1. Go to Widget SettingsSearch & Filters
  2. Click AddToggle Filter
  3. Select a field to filter on
  4. Choose a filter mode
  5. Set the label (what visitors see, e.g., "Show Featured Only")
  6. Save your settings

Filter Modes

Has value: show listings where the field is not empty. Use this for things like "Has Website" or "Has Phone Number."

Equals: show listings where the field matches a specific value. Set the value to match (e.g., field "Status" equals "Open"). Good for text fields with known values.

Has tag: show listings that have a specific tag. Set the tag value to match (e.g., tag "Featured"). Best used with tags fields.

Examples

Toggle label Mode Field Value
Show Featured Has tag Category Featured
Has Website Has value Website link
Open Now Equals Status Open
Has Photos Has value Image gallery

Works With

Toggle filters work with almost every field type:

The only exception is image fields (use "Has value" mode to check if images exist).
